Build dependable information workflows for a commodities investment team, from incoming research and licensed market data to analyst review and internal reporting.
What you will do
- Integrate approved market, position, and research sources with clear timestamps and provenance.
- Build research assistants that retrieve supporting evidence and distinguish observations from estimates.
- Create data quality checks for units, currencies, contract months, and missing or stale values.
- Prepare exposure summaries and operational exceptions for authorized staff review.
What you bring
- Python, SQL, API integrations, and time series data handling.
- Experience with retrieval, tool calling, evaluation, and access controlled applications.
- Ability to explain data assumptions and failure modes to analysts and operations staff.
- Careful handling of confidential research and licensed data.
Helpful experience: Commodities, futures, portfolio data, or investment operations experience.
