Forward Deployed AI Engineer
Cruise Data and Systems Integration
Candidates must already be local to Miami and available for onsite collaboration.
aidefi is recruiting for this role. Engagement type, compensation, schedule, and project details will be discussed during interviews.
Own the data handoffs between a legacy cruise reservation platform and the systems that support sales, guest service, and reporting.
What you will do
- Map customer and booking identifiers across source systems and maintain source to target crosswalks.
- Build validated data pipelines, reconciliation reports, and exception queues.
- Design API and event integrations with safe retries, duplicate prevention, and clear ownership.
- Use AI to assist mapping and error investigation while keeping deterministic checks on financial and booking fields.
What you bring
- Python, SQL, relational data modeling, and hands on integration delivery.
- Experience with batch pipelines, queues, schema changes, and data quality controls.
- Ability to investigate inconsistent records and document migration decisions.
- Experience working directly with operations staff and system owners.
Helpful experience: Oracle databases, cloud data platforms, travel distribution systems, and reservation integrations.
