Forward Deployed AI Engineer
Cruise Reservation Modernization
Candidates must already be local to Miami and available for onsite collaboration.
aidefi is recruiting for this role. Engagement type, compensation, schedule, and project details will be discussed during interviews.
Work alongside reservation agents, operations teams, and software owners to understand how bookings, amendments, cancellations, and guest requests move through a legacy platform.
What you will do
- Map reservation workflows and turn approved business rules into tested services and agent tools.
- Build assistants that retrieve booking context, prepare changes, and route exceptions to authorized staff.
- Connect existing services through supported APIs and adapters, preserving transaction history and source records.
- Evaluate answers and proposed actions against real scenarios before expanding access.
What you bring
- Production software development with Python and either Java or C#/.NET.
- SQL, API integration, authentication, and experience supporting transactional applications.
- Practical LLM tool calling, retrieval, structured outputs, and evaluation.
- Ability to explain technical decisions to booking and customer service teams.
Helpful experience: Cruise, airline, hospitality, contact center, or reservation platform experience.
